Staging: A concept originated as a home's closing act.

The concept of staging was developed in 1972 by a realtor named Barbara Schwartz who had a background in theater. She discovered that by "staging" a home to be more visually appealing after listing it, the property would sell faster. Her basic staging tenets were to "declutter" and "de-accessorize" to neutralize the home.

Bea Staged Interiors has advanced this concept by embracing "staging for living" - adding color, personality and beautiful accessories so the home speaks about you, the individual. Since only 25 percent of us are visual, many people have found it pays to hire a professional stager to turn a house into a home.
